Just got home from a ceremony we put on to celebrate the finishing of our first year and to welcome the second class to the program. The Dean of the school of allied health recorded a welcome message for us to play as he was at a wedding. One of our faculty gave a brief talk followed by the head of the Physical Therapy department and our program's director all gave nice talks and then we were each given a personalized apron. Planning it was a lot of work, but it was very nice and think everyone had a good time.

Hello World!
Hi! My name is Josh and I am a student in the orthotics and prosthetics program at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. I wanted a place to post pictures of projects and the things that I am learning about. My program director combined the terms orthotist and prosthetist into a portmanteau, "orthoprosthetist" he may not be the only person who uses it but we like it and have started using it to describe our future profession. I am part way through my fifth quarter of a ten quarter master's program. I hope to post pictures of the processes and projects that we do for class, I will try to keep it updated but we will see how successful I am. Thanks for looking.
